What We Do!

CEDCO provides start-up businesses the technical assistance training they need to help them begin with a solid business foundation. We provide various workshops including; marketing, business and financial plan development.

CEDCO provides three financing programs to assist business pending. CEDCO formally administers the City of Racine Minority Loan Fund and a State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce Loan Fund pending. The City of Racine Minority Loan Fund Program (MLF) provides fixed rate, low interest loans for proposed projects that may assist in creating new jobs, help businesses maintain or expand existing operations and advance community economic development goals and objectives.

The CEDCO Emergency Loan Fund is a fund developed to help healthy business survive difficult times. Seasonality, unexpected business expenses and other unforeseen difficulties affect all businesses. However, these minor business situations cause major problems for some businesses. CEDCO can assist minority business to overcome unanticipated business situations.
